Brigham Young University has created a new Integrity and Compliance Office (ICO) to oversee the university’s compliance and ethics program, administer its confidential compliance hotline and manage the university policymaking process.

Academic Vice President C. Shane Reese has announced the appointment of Larry L. Howell as the new associate academic vice president for research and graduate studies at Brigham Young University.

Replaces founding director Richard Williams, who will be returning to full-time teaching and research in Counseling Psychology and Special Education in the David O. McKay School of Education.

Brigham Young University Academic Vice President James R. Rasband has announced that Gus L. W. Hart has been named interim dean of the BYU College of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, following the appointment of current dean C. Shane Reese as the academic vice president.

Six times a year, BYU invites experts in their fields to deliver a Forum address on campus. These illustrious speakers address the campus community on a variety of topics around the central theme, "The Pursuit of Democratic Character."
