Natalie manages internal communications for BYU. She is the point of contact for campus events and announcements, and manages two award-winning newsletters: Y News and the Student Email.
Natalie earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and a master’s degree in mass communication from Brigham Young University. As a student, she took first place in reporting at the Hearst National Journalism Championship. She worked as a reporter and anchor at KFOX14 in El Paso, Texas where she earned a Gracie award for her investigative reporting.
As Campus News Manager, Natalie enjoys sharing meaningful work and unique stories from BYU students, faculty and staff. She keeps her ear to the ground to make sure she's aware of everything happening on campus at all times – there's never a dull moment. "Returning to BYU felt like coming home. There is a unique spirit on campus and I'm thrilled to play a part in fostering and preserving that feeling."
