Campus News Manager
Natalie does internal communications for BYU. She publishes the award-winning employee newsletter Y News and the student newsletter. She is the point of contact for campus events and announcements.
Natalie earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and a master’s degree in mass communication from Brigham Young University. As a student, she took first place for radio news at the annual Hearst National Journalism Championship. She worked as a reporter and anchor at KFOX14 in El Paso, Texas where she earned a Gracie award for her investigative reporting.
As Campus News Manager, Natalie enjoys sharing the meaningful work and unique stories from BYU students, faculty and staff. She keeps her ear to the ground to make sure she's aware of everything happening on campus at all times – there's never a dull moment. "Returning to BYU felt like coming home. There a unique spirit on campus and I'm thrilled to play a part in fostering and preserving that feeling."
