It's BYU undergrads vs. earthquakes in seismic design competition
A group of BYU civil engineering students will head to San Diego to compete in an international competition that pits student-built structures against simulated earthquakes. Religious Studies Center plans King James Bible symposium Feb. 23-24
To commemorate the 400th anniversary of the translation and publication of the King James Version of the Bible, the Religious Studies Center will sponsor an academic symposium on the role of the King James translation in the Restoration of the Gospel Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 23 and 24, from 1 to 5 p.m. each day in the Harold B. Lee Library Auditorium. There will also be an encore presentation at the LDS Conference Center in Salt Lake City Friday, Feb. 25, from 7 to 9 p.m.

Preregistration begins Feb. 14 for annual Rex Lee Run March 12
The annual Rex Lee Run Against Cancer will take place Saturday, March 12. The cost for the run is $15 for the 5K run and $20 for the 10K run on or before March 11. Preregistration will be available Feb. 14-18 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the main level booths in the Wilkinson Student Center. Those who preregister will receive a $2 discount.
