Ann Romney will visit BYU on Thursday, October 1, at 6 p.m., to speak about her new book, In This Together: My Story.
This event, which is co-sponsored by the BYU Store
Her book, set to be released on September 29, is about her journey with multiple sclerosis, a neurologic disease affecting over 2.3 million people worldwide. Romney shares details about her life, marriage, treatment and how working through her diagnosis with faith and support has transformed her life and that of her family.
"I?m thrilled to return to the BYU campus to share my new book with you while supporting research that has the potential to provide new hope for the more than 50 million people worldwide who suffer from multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer?s disease, ALS, Parkinson?s disease, and brain tumors," said Romney. "With all the blessings I've had, MS has been my greatest teacher: It has taught me about faith, compassion, and serving others. In sharing my story, I want to give others hope as I've been given hope on this journey."
Romney?s proceeds from the sale of In This Together will benefit the Ann Romney Center for Neurologic Diseases at Brigham and Women?s Hospital in Boston.
