Name: Keith Wilson
BYU employee since: September 1980
My job at BYU is… teaching the scriptures and researching to build faith.
Currently I’m working on… a history of the RLDS Church’s return to Protestantism.
I get most excited about my work when… I see faith and testimony increase.
Teaching a BYU study abroad religion class... sparked my interest in my field.
My favorite lecture to teach is… “The Widow of Nain.”
When I have 30 minutes of free time, you can find me… working in my orchard.
My most cherished memory at BYU was when… an intriguing young lady stole my attention in that Chemistry class room. Pay attention to that Chemistry!
My favorite spot on campus is… the area around the duck pond. It is just beautiful, but I also admire George the landscaper and talk with him almost daily as I make my way to campus.
I became a BYU fan when… I realized how much the university reflects on the Church.
You’ll never find me without… some candy in my suit jacket (I’m a doting grandpa).
The title of my autobiography would be… trust in the Lord and work hard for Him.
If I could travel anywhere, I would go to... Mount Kilimanjaro because it looks like a place where heaven and earth touch each other.
My favorite TV show growing up was… “Bonanza” because it was a family that worked together.
