My job at BYU is... assistant dean and director of Liberal Arts Advisement and Careers. I have an amazing team that helps students make the most of their liberal arts education and time at BYU.
I’m currently working on... ways to help students find better jobs and internships sooner.
I get most excited about my work when... students or my team can see and get excited about their potential.
When I have 30 minutes of free time, you can find me... hanging out and playing games with my awesome kids.
My advice to incoming freshmen is... don’t feel like you have to have it all figured out. Everyone is learning, and that’s the whole point of being here.
The best-kept BYU secret is... the study alcoves in the JFSB. They are serene and have amazing views, especially when it’s snowing.
You’ll never find me without... some kind of drink, probably Diet Dr. Pepper.
The title of my autobiography would be... “Let’s Try That Again, but Better This Time.”
One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced was... coming to BYU as a first-generation student and having never even stepped foot in Utah. It was a tough year of learning, but it turned out to be a wonderful blessing!
