The BYU Department of Dance will present dancEnsemble in "Ordinary Festivals" in the dance studio theater on Nov. 13-14 in the Dance Studio Theatre of the Richards Building.

Tickets are $6 and can be purchased in person at the BYU Ticket Office in the Harris Fine Arts Center or Marriott Center, by phone at 801-422-2981 or online at byuarts.com.

"Ordinary Festivals," by artists Sara Pearson and Patrik Widrig of PearsonWidrig DanceTheater, is an evening-length dance theater piece for 300 oranges, 2 knives and 19 performers --- including four dance department faculty members --- that has been seen by over 15,000 people throughout the United States, Europe and Latin America.

It features Graham Brown and Lehua Estrada as dance directors; Erin Bjorn as lighting designer; Hannah Richardson as stage manager; Dawn Maughan as costumes designer; Jose Farias, Jon Fox, Kent Lloyd and Adam Schraedel as guest performers; and Sara Pearson and Patrik Widrig as choreographers.

The dancEnsemble Company includes Elisabeth Allred, Danielle Ashby, Meagan Barnes, Emily Bergen, Rachelle Clary, Mac Cruz, Ally Haynie, Lyndsi Henretty, Madeleine Homer, Tessa Homer, Rachel Kearl, Amanda Larsen, Molly Mackenzie, Kadyen Porter, Abby Roush Caitlin Shill, Kristin Smyre, Alexandra Sullivan, Danielle Tarabilda, Taylor Wade and Brittany Wilde.
