As a video producer and director for University Communications, Julie produces video projects to promote the university including national commercials, promotions, news features and documentary projects. She also provides assistance and resources for broadcast journalists and producers. 

Julie has written, produced and directed a variety of award-winning broadcast projects including the nationally distributed documentary “Out of the Ashes: Recovering the Lost Library of Herculaneum” (for KBYU and American Public Television). A graduate of BYU’s broadcast journalism program, she was also a screenwriter for the BYU Broadcasting documentary series, Real Families, Real Answers and Ancestors, and has produced various radio and television projects for the LDS Church. Julie Walker and Brian Wilcox won a 2017 CASE International Gold of Excellence award for “Journey to Petra.”
