The Brigham Young University School of Music presents Ruth Monson in a faculty violin and viola recital Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 5:30 p.m. in the Madsen Recital Hall.
The performance is free and the public is welcome to attend.
Monson's program will include music by Ludwig van Beethoven, Gabriel Faure and Carl Maria von Weber. She will be accompanied by Robin Hancock on the piano.
Monson, a new part-time faculty member, says she is looking forward to the recital.
"This is the first opportunity I've had to play a recital since college," Monson said. "The opportunity to do chamber music with a great pianist is wonderful."
