Office of IT continues IP Phone rollout

April 14, 2004

The Office of IT will soon complete the latest phase of installing IP Phones on campus. Buildings involved in this rollout include the Conference Center and the Harman and University Press Buildings.

Employees who will be affected by this rollout in the future will be contacted by their Computing Support Representative or Office of IT Account Manager. IP Phones will eventually replace the ROLM Phone system in offices throughout campus.

For IP Phone information, including orders and installation schedules, visit tthe Web site at http://it.byu.edu/ipphone.

Recently, an undergraduate student made a significant discovery—a new family of origami patterns with promising applications across a range of fields, including space systems, medical devices, bulletproof shields, architecture, furniture and aerodynamic components for transportation.
