Lee Library issues casting call for new video

Entries due July 25

Following the success of the viral “New Spice: Study like a Scholar, Scholar” video and a zombie apocalypse, Brigham Young University's Harold B. Lee Library Multimedia Production Unit is looking for actors to appear in a new library promotional music video.

Those wanting to participate can send an email stating their interest to hbllproductionunit@byu.edu. Headshots and resumes are welcome. Entries are due Monday, July 25, and auditions and casting may begin on Wednesday, July 27. The video is expected to air early fall semester.

The Harold B. Lee Library Multimedia Unit specializes in a wide range of media production. Whether supplementing library exhibitions with rich touch-screen kiosks and websites, or through creating promotional and educational videos, the Multimedia Unit primarily serves to benefit the Harold B. Lee Library, BYU's main library.

Additionally, they produce documentary, television, and broadcasting work, bringing stories to life through engaging visuals. The Multimedia Unit can also be found recording and archiving important lectures and presentations held in the Lee Library Auditorium, and hosting an academic streaming video server for professors to deliver video material to their students.

For more information, contact Olivia Gallegos at (801) 422-2300 or e-mail hbllproductionunit@byu.edu.
