Gary Palmer to deliver BYU devotional address May 29

Gary Palmer, a teaching professor in Brigham Young University’s Department of Recreation Management and Youth Leadership, will present the university’s weekly devotional on Tuesday, May 29, at 11:05 a.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall.

The devotional will be broadcast live on the BYU Broadcasting channels. For rebroadcast information, visit byubroadcasting.org.

Palmer will speak on “The Spokes of a Balanced Life.”

In addition to teaching in the recreation management and youth leadership department, his experience also includes serving as an assistant to the dean of the College of Physical Education, president of the Utah Parks and Recreation Association and assistant superintendent of Parks and Recreation in Columbia, S.C.

Palmer has also received several “Outstanding Teacher” and “Excellence in Teaching” awards.
