Elder D. Todd Christofferson to speak at BYU Easter Conference March 26

Brigham Young University will host a special Easter Conference Saturday, March 26, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Joseph Smith Building auditorium.

The conference is free and open to the public.

The featured speaker will be Elder D. Todd Christofferson, a member of the Presidency of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Accompanying speakers will include Dean Andrew C. Skinner and Associate Dean Richard D. Draper of BYU Religious Education, and Richard N. Holzapfel, Eric D. Huntsman, Thomas A. Wayment and Gaye Strathearn.

Conference topics include the birth of Christ, the wilderness experience, the calling of the Twelve, early Galilean ministries, the Sermon on the Mount and Jesus and the Samaritan woman.

This conference is sponsored by Religious Education and the Religious Studies Center.

BYU study finds the real reasons why some people choose not to use artificial intelligence

In a recent study, BYU professors Jacob Steffen and Taylor Wells explored why some people are still reluctant to use GenAI tools. While some people might worry about an AI apocalypse, Steffen and Wells found that most non-users are more concerned with issues like trusting the results, missing the human touch or feeling unsure if GenAI is ethical to use.
