The BYU Department of Theatre and Media Arts and the BYU Student Film Association are calling for entries for the student-produced, student-created Final Cut Film Festival. The festival, which will be held on Oct. 13-14, will feature a collection of the best student-made fiction films, documentaries, commercials, animations and more.
Submissions are due Friday, Sept. 23. All BYU students, not just students within the film and media arts program, are eligible to submit film entries. Films in all genres will be accepted. Prizes for selected entries will be awarded at the festival in categories including fiction, non-fiction, commercials, animation and the audience favorite.
Visit BYUFinalCut.com for film submission criteria and additional details. Past Final Cut films can be viewed at studentfilms.byu.edu.
