BYU's Sundance Trio plans evening of 20th-century music Jan. 20

The Sundance Trio will perform a program of 20th-century music Tuesday, Jan. 20, at 7:30 p.m. at the Harris Fine Arts Center’s Madsen Recital Hall at Brigham Young University.

The concert is free, and tickets are not required.

The Sundance Trio includes BYU School of Music faculty members Geralyn Giovannetti, oboe, and Christian Smith, bassoon. Freelance pianist Jed Moss completes the trio.

The program will include works by Paul Angerer, Gernot Wolfgang, Malcolm Forsyth, Michael Head and Bill Douglas.

BYU study finds the real reasons why some people choose not to use artificial intelligence

In a recent study, BYU professors Jacob Steffen and Taylor Wells explored why some people are still reluctant to use GenAI tools. While some people might worry about an AI apocalypse, Steffen and Wells found that most non-users are more concerned with issues like trusting the results, missing the human touch or feeling unsure if GenAI is ethical to use.
