BYU rugby team heads to Stanford for championship bid

The Brigham Young University rugby team will begin its charge for the USA Rugby Collegiate Championship against Stanford University in Palo Alto on Friday, April 29.

BYU rugby joins perennial powerhouses Cal Berkeley, Navy and the University of Utah in the final round of four teams that still have a chance to win the collegiate rugby trophy.

It has been more than 20 years since BYU's rugby team has reached the championship finals. BYU rugby has established itself as a premier rugby program through the selection of numerous national team members, All-Americans, Territorial All-Stars and dedicated coaching staff and administrators.
