Russell Crane of Brigham Young University’s School of Family Life was recently awarded the Cumulative Contribution to Marriage and Family Therapy Research Award.
Crane was given the award by the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy for his continuous contributions to research in field of family therapy. He is the first association member to receive the award since 2003.
Crane teaches marriage and family therapy courses, and previously served as the director of the Family Studies Center and as theassociate director for research in the School of Family Life at BYU.
He received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the California State University at Hayward, and both his master’s degree and doctorate in marriage and family therapy from BYU.
