The BYU School of Music presents student soloists joining the BYU Philharmonic in concert in the de Jong Concert Hall on Wednesday, March 9, at 7:30 p.m.

The Evening of Concertos will feature the seven winners of the BYU School of Music’s annual philharmonic concerto competition including Drew Powell on flute, soprano Elizabeth Coleman, Csaba Jevtic-Somlai on Clarinet, Michelle Papenfuss on piano, Hannah Cope on harp, David Price on violin and Alex Carre on piano.
Conducted by Kory Katseanes and comprising 95 of the university’s finest musicians, the Philharmonic Orchestra performs regularly on campus and collaborates with BYU’s choral, opera and ballet programs. Its repertoire focuses on the Romantic period but also includes 20th- and 21st-century music.
