BYU museum honors Dia de los Muertos Oct. 28 with stories

On Friday, Oct. 28, Brigham Young University’s Museum of Peoples and Cultures will honor the Mexican holiday Dia de los Muertos at 11 a.m. The museum is located at 100 East and 700 North in Provo. Admission is free.

Dia de los Muertos focuses on family gatherings to honor their deceased ancestors. This session of “Stories from Around the World” will include exciting cultural stories, activities and treats that will build a closer appreciation and connection between children and their ancestors.

Activities will be geared toward children ages three to six. For further information, contact Kari Nelson at 801-422-0022.
