A team of four Brigham Young University students from the School of Accountancy and Information Systems won first place at the finals of the Institute of Management Accountants 2003 National Student Video Case Competition in Nashville, Tenn.
Using a very innovative approach to analyzing the IMA case, Jason Smith, Shonn Stahlecker, Andy Wycherly and Scott Williams presented a creative, strong and humorous presentation in a news show format similar to "Larry King Live."
At the awards ceremony, the team received a cash award of $5,000 and a plaque. The team's advisor was Kip Krumwiede, assistant professor in the SOAIS.
