John Clark, professor of anthropology at Brigham Young University, will speak at a campus forum Tuesday, May 25, at 11:05 a.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall on the BYU campus.
Clark's address is titled "Archaeology, Relics and Book of Mormon Belief."
The forum will not be broadcast on BYU Broadcasting services.
Clark's interest in archaeology began when he hunted for arrowheads as a child near his home in Idaho.
He is the director and editor of the New World Archaeological Foundation and is a member of the board of the Institute for the Study and Preservation of Ancient Religious Texts, both at BYU.
Clark earned a bachelor's and master's degree in anthropology at BYU and a doctorate in anthropology from the University of Michigan.
