At April’s commencement ceremony on Thursday, April 27, more than 6,800 students were honored for completing higher degrees at Brigham Young University.

For the weekly devotionals and forums during the 2023 spring and summer terms, select BYU employees and industry experts will bring their industry knowledge, life experiences and spiritual insights to aid students in achieving BYU's aims.

Elder D. Todd Christofferson, a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is scheduled to be the presiding authority and speaker during BYU's commencement exercises on Thursday, April 27.

Festivity, fun and inspiration are everywhere this holiday season, especially at BYU.

The BYU Education Society and BYU Alumni Association, in conjunction with Liberty University's School of Education, are encouraging fans to bring new or lightly used children's books to the game for donation. Drop-off bins will be conveniently located outside the campus bookstore and the School of Education building, as well as at the BYU alumni tailgate in the Liberty Mountain Conference Center. The books will be collected by the United Way of Central Virginia and distributed to children in need.

The daily live streams will feature the talented BYU Ballroom Dance Company, Living Legends, Vocal Point, Young Ambassadors, and the International Folk Dance Ensemble.

During the month of May, each address will be held in the Marriott Center. Devotionals and forums occurring in June, July and August will be held in the de Jong Concert Hall of the Harris Fine Arts Center, apart from the Education Week devotional on August 17, which will be held in the Marriott Center.

The April commencement ceremony honored BYU graduates of the 2020–21 academic year and conferred 6,742 degrees. The proceedings were broadcast from the Marriott Center to graduates and their loved ones around the world.
