My job at BYU is... a marketing professor, and I teach classes about consumer decision-making.
I’m currently studying... how product and packaging sustainability impacts consumer purchasing decisions.
I get most excited about my work when... I see students who are confident because they recognize that they’ve progressed spiritually, socially and professionally.
My favorite part about teaching is... being able to connect students to spiritual and professional knowledge that is relevant to them.
My favorite lecture to teach is... prospect theory!
When I have 30 minutes of free time, you can find me... watching and supporting my kids in their various interests and activities.
My advice to graduating seniors is... to let them know that when I look back on the highs and lows of my life, I’ve learned that things always work out better when I try to follow the Savior and the teachings of His prophets.
My favorite place on campus is... the Marriott Center because:
- I’ve learned so much and frequently felt the Spirit there by listening to prophets, seers and revelators.
- I love celebrating graduation with my students there.
- I enjoy attending BYU basketball games.
My favorite Cougar athlete is... Hannah Billeter from women’s volleyball (my niece).
Some of my cherished memories at BYU are... building lasting friendships and amazing experiences on study abroads.
I’m most looking forward to... time with family.
