“I am grateful to Brian for his willingness to serve,” said Vice President Reese, “He brings a demonstrated ability to lead through his role as associate university librarian, and a dedication to the library and its students, faculty and staff."

Rennick has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Missouri St. Louis in addition to a master’s degree in computer resources and information management from Webster University. Rennick also holds a Master of Library Science degree from the University of North Texas.

Rennick joined the BYU Library in 2010 and has served on the Disability Standards Compliance committee and Affordable Course Materials and Scholarly Communications committee. He is currently an associate university librarian for library information technology.
