BYU Tuition to Increase 3% for 2022–23 Academic Year

Brigham Young University will implement a 3% increase for undergraduate tuition for the 2022–23 academic year. This will bring the undergraduate rate per semester from $3,060 to $3,152, an increase of $92.

New BYU assistant academic vice president position created

BYU Academic Vice President Shane Reese appointed Dr. Reid L. Neilson as the assistant academic vice president for religious scholarly publications. This newly created position at the university will oversee three organizations on campus: the Neal A. Maxwell Institute for Religious Scholarship, the Religious Studies Center, and BYU Studies.

Results of BYU’s second Campus Climate Survey on Sexual Assault

Brigham Young University has released the results of its second Campus Climate Survey on Sexual Assault, showing that more than 90 percent of its students believe sexual harassment is not tolerated at the university. The survey also points to the need for more training on the prevention of sexual assault and the awareness of campus services.

Sale of farming property to benefit university endowment

The U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR) has dismissed a Title IX complaint against BYU that alleged discrimination related to students involved in same-sex romantic relationships. BYU announces significant changes to its student housing program effective fall 2022
