Joe leads BYU’s digital communications strategy and is the publisher of top-level sites such as BYU.edu, news.byu.edu and calendar.byu.edu.
A BYU fan since childhood, Joe received a bachelor’s degree in communications and a master’s degree in public policy from BYU. He worked in Silicon Valley as an analyst in the Government & Academic division of the survey research firm Knowledge Networks (now GfK). He joined University Communications in 2007 as a media relations manager. In 2010, he became the university’s first social media manager.
Joe's favorite thing about BYU are the people here: They're smart, thoughtful, caring and committed to making the world a better place, whether that's helping a neighbor or solving a global problem.
