Program selections are varied and include classical, contemporary and original works from Anton Dvorak, Stephen Whibley and Maraca2.
The World Percussion Group represents the next chapter in the evolution of the Maraca2 duo, an idea that began to take form in 2014. The members of the WPG are selected by audition from hundreds of applicants worldwide and represent the very best young percussion players. The mission of the WPG is not just to inspire audiences and students but also to give an international platform to the best percussionists of the next generation, providing an opportunity for cultural sharing.
