“Winter Choirfest” scheduled at BYU Feb. 4

The Brigham Young University Women’s Chorus, Concert Choir, BYU Singers and Men’s Chorus will combine to present “Winter Choirfest” Wednesday, Feb. 4, at 7:30 p.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall.

Tickets for the event are $10, with discounts available to students, alumni and senior citizens. Tickets can be purchased at the Fine Arts Ticket Office by calling (801) 422-2981 or by visiting byuarts.com/tickets.

The program will feature music from "Carmina Burana" by Carl Orff, as well as other contemporary works by Eriks Esenvalds and Grammy Award-winning composer Christopher Tin.

The choirs will be led by their respective conductors: Jean Applonie, Women’s Chorus; Rosalind Hall, Concert Choir and Men’s Chorus; and Ronald Staheli, BYU Singers.
