Welsh nuclear arms expert to speak at BYU March 24

John Baylis, pro vice chancellor at the University of Wales—Swansea, will discuss "The Trans-Atlantic Rift: Britain as a Bridge" at the International Forum Series Wednesday, March 24, at noon, in 238 Herald R. Clark Building on the Brigham Young University campus.

Baylis, who also works as department head of politics and international relations, is an expert in the field of nuclear weapons, arms control and related security issues.

He has been a guest contributor on many radio and television programs about nuclear arms control and has addressed government committees on arms regulation and reduction.

The lecture is sponsored by the David M. Kennedy Center for International Studies and the Center for the Study of Europe.
