Brigham Young University’s School of Music welcomes the GO Percussion Group of Vietnam to the stage Friday, Nov. 11 at 7:30 p.m. in the Madsen Recital Hall. This event is free.
The GO Percussion Group from Hanoi, Vietnam, is comprised of members from the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra and the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet. They are directed by Thi LE Dung and are assisted by vocalist Huyen Nga and trumpeter Minh Quy.
They will present a variety of traditional and Vietnamese percussion works, including “Rhapsody Vietnam” and “Pizzicato Vietnam” which was composed for four marimba.
