Using Digital Dialog to generate feedback topic of March 13 lecture for faculty

The BYU Center for Teaching and Learning invites faculty and instructors to attend a teaching-and-learning workshop, "Digital Dialog and the Feedback-Centered Classroom," Wednesday, March 13, from 1 to 2 p.m. in 3211 WSC.

RSVP to ext. 2-8180 or ctlrec@byu.edu if you plan to attend.

Jamin Rowan of the College of Humanities faculty will share his ideas and experiences on transitioning from a classroom focused on delivering content to one that revolves around providing students with feedback. He'll discuss how he has used Digital Dialog in the BYU Learning Suite to help generate class discussions and evaluations of student work that help students enhance their writing and other academic skills.

These strategies can be valuable in a wide range of disciplines, and faculty and instructors from all departments are welcome to participate.

For more information, contact the Center for Teaching and Learning at ext. 2-8180.
