University Orchestra, Strings in concert Nov. 29

The Brigham Young University School of Music presents the University Orchestra and University Strings in concert Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 7:30 p.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall.

Tickets are $3 and can be purchased at byuarts.com/tickets or at (801) 422-4322.

The groups will be conducted by master's degree students Melissa K. Condie, Dave Faires and Denisse Vallecillos, and will include a variety of exciting orchestral works. A few highlights include Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto: First Movement, Scott Joplin’s “Pineapple Rag” as well as Dvorak’s Slovanic Dance No. 7.
