University Band, Trombone Choir in concert April 7

The Brigham Young University School of Music presents the University Band and Trombone and Brass Choirs Wednesday, April 7, at 7:30 p.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall.

The performance is free and the public is welcome to attend.

The concert will feature Fred McInnis conducting the University Band, and Daniel Bachelder and Alisha Ard conducting the Brass Choir and Trombone Choir. Ard will also serve as a trombone soloist, and Nathan Galloway and Seretta Hart will be featured trumpet soloists.

The program includes music by Bela Bartók, Ronald Lo Presti, Robert W. Smith, Antonin Dvorak, Robert Sheldon, Martin Mailman, Antonio Vivaldi, Benedetto Marcello, Felix Mendelssohn, Daniel Thrower, Fisher Tull, Gordon Jacob, Saint-Saëns, Flor Peters, Jack Gale and G. Bonelli.
