“Unfortunate Brothers: Korea’s Reunification Dilemma,” the ninth original documentary created for the "Beyond the Border" series and the first program focusing on Korea produced by Combat Films & Research for the David M. Kennedy Center at Brigham Young University, will air this week.

HD Net's World Report will premiere “Unfortunate Brothers” Tuesday, June 5, at 9 p.m. Eastern/7 p.m. Mountain. The show repeats later in the evening and again on Saturday morning. "Beyond the Border" is a collection of films covering war, geography, politics, history and current affairs that originally debuted in September and October 2004 for KBYU-TV. The series examines events, trends and stories from around the world with an emphasis on international relations.

The series' senior producer, Dodge Billingsley of Combat Films & Research, is a seasoned producer and former defense analyst who has documented war zones and trouble spots worldwide.

Jeff Ringer, director of the David M. Kennedy Center, and Cory Leonard, assistant director responsible for outreach, regard the series to be an important supplement for educators, developing informed global citizens with understanding of complex international issues, regions and themes.
