TIME CHANGE: CIA analysts will discuss “Inside the CIA Post-9/11” Oct. 4 at BYU

A group of analysts from the Central Intelligence Agency will visit the Brigham Young University campus on Wednesday, Oct. 4, to present “Inside the CIA Post-9/11” at 3 p.m. in 238 Herald R. Clark Building.

These CIA officers — including some BYU graduates — are serving in the agency's analytic research arm. They will share their insights on the role of intelligence analysis in Washington policymaking and what it's like to be an intelligence analyst in today’s demanding US policy and foreign affairs environments.

These officers are not recruiters, but have volunteered to share their passion for their work. After their presentation, the officers will answer students’ questions about life in the agency, the intelligence profession and challenges they see in the international arena.

This lecture is sponsored by the BYU Middle East Studies and Arabic Departments. For more information on David M. Kennedy Center events, see the calendar online at kennedy.byu.edu.
