Tickets available for "Jazz for Kids" at BYU Nov. 16

Brigham Young University’s School of Music will present “Jazz for Kids,” the second concert in the Beverley Taylor Sorenson Family Concert Series, Saturday, Nov. 16, at 11 a.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall.

Admission is free, thanks to a generous donation from the Sorenson Legacy Foundation. Children age 2 and older require a ticket. For tickets, visit the Harris Fine Arts Center Ticket Office or the Marriott Center Ticket Office. These remaining tickets are for general admission, with seating subject to availability.

Directed by Steve Call, “Jazz for Kids” will feature music from the Jazz Legacy Dixieland Band as they perform popular jazz styles improvised for plenty of fun.

The Beverley Taylor Sorenson Family Concert Series was created to introduce the joy of music to children and youth. All family members are encouraged to attend regardless of age.

For more information regarding the performance, contact Steve Call at (801) 422-6116. For information on the concert series, contact Kenneth V. Crossley at (801) 422-9348.
