Thomas W. Sederberg, professor of computer science at Brigham Young University, will speak Tuesday, March 29, at 11 a.m. in the Marriot Center for campus devotional.
The title of his devotional is "Faith, the First Principle of the Gospel."

Sederberg is co-director of Digital Roots, a research laboratory developing software tools for family history technology. He is also associate editor of "ACM Transactions on Graphics" and of the journal "Computer Aided Geometric Design."
He was awarded the National Science Foundation Presidential Young Investigators award.
From 1973 to 1980 Sederberg served on the committee that created the cross references for the 1980 edition of the scriptures of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
