Textbook sell-back at BYU Bookstore April 18-24

Begins April 17 for VIP customers

Textbook sell-back will be held on the upper level of the BYU Bookstore April 18-24. There will also be additional sell-back locations at Helaman Halls' Cannon Center and Wyview Park’s Multipurpose Building April 19 and 21-23.

VIP members will receive up to 60 percent of the current retail price and can sell back their books a day earlier on April 17. They can also sell back their books anytime during sell back. VIP members are those who purchased their textbooks at the Bookstore and swiped their ID cards. In order to receive the 60 percent sell-back, VIP members must swipe their ID card again when they come to sell back their books.

Non-VIP members will receive up to 50 percent of the current retail price and can begin selling back their books April 18.

Hours for sell-back are as follows:

April 18: 7:50 a.m.-6 p.m.

The books that are eligible for sell-back are those that have been requested by an instructor for a future term and are not overstocked from prior terms, that are the correct edition and are in good condition. The Bookstore cannot accept packets, workbooks or books with tear-out pages. For those titles not needed for winter semester, a national wholesale price will be offered.
