Students elect Brandon Sookhoo, Rachel Densley as 2014-15 BYUSA leaders

March 06, 2014

With 5,597 students (18 percent of the student body) participating in this year's election, voters elected Brandon Sookhoo and Rachel Densley as the 2013-2014 BYUSA president and executive vice president Tuesday.

They will begin their term in office this spring term (April 29).

BYU study finds the real reasons why some people choose not to use artificial intelligence

In a recent study, BYU professors Jacob Steffen and Taylor Wells explored why some people are still reluctant to use GenAI tools. While some people might worry about an AI apocalypse, Steffen and Wells found that most non-users are more concerned with issues like trusting the results, missing the human touch or feeling unsure if GenAI is ethical to use.
