Soprano Gabriela Quezada to present guest recital at BYU Nov. 13

The Brigham Young University Institute de Estudios Vallejianos, Department of Spanish and Portuguese and School of Music will present guest artist Gabriela Quezada Thursday, Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the Museum of Art Auditorium.

The performance is free and the public is welcome to attend.

Quezada, a soprano, will perform Peruvian music and will be accompanied on the piano by Greg Stallings.

Born in Lima, Peru, Quezada has appeared with the Peruvian National Orchestra, the Moldavia Symphony Orchestra of Budapest and the Symphonic Orchestra of Cuba.

BYU study finds the real reasons why some people choose not to use artificial intelligence

In a recent study, BYU professors Jacob Steffen and Taylor Wells explored why some people are still reluctant to use GenAI tools. While some people might worry about an AI apocalypse, Steffen and Wells found that most non-users are more concerned with issues like trusting the results, missing the human touch or feeling unsure if GenAI is ethical to use.
