Small-Torres Guitar Duo in BYU performance Nov. 22

The Brigham Young University School of Music presents a free performance by the Mark Small and Robert Torres Guitar Duo Friday (Nov. 22) at 7:30 p.m. in 251 N. Eldon Tanner Building.

Small and Torres have played together for more than a decade, recorded six CDs and have performed throughout the United States.

In 1996, the guitar duo became the first guitarists to accompany the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on its live television and radio shows. They have since revisited the choir, each time being asked to write an original piece for two guitars and choir.

Small and Torres will also be at the BYU Bookstore, Wednesday (Nov. 20) at 1 p.m. signing copies of their new Christmas CD, "Winterlight II."
