Sheri Dew to speak at College of Nursing Endowment dinner April 4

Reservations due April 1

Sheri L. Dew, CEO of Deseret Book Company, will be the featured speaker for the Brigham Young University Mary Ellen Edmunds Endowment for the Healer’s Art celebration dinner Wednesday, April 4, at 6:30 p.m. in the Wilkinson Student Center Ballroom.

Tickets are $25 per person, and seats may be reserved by calling Holly Skelton at (801) 422-6547 prior to April 1.

The annual event is held to honor the work of Mary Ellen Edmunds and the mission of the university’s College of Nursing. In addition to Dew, the program will feature remarks by Edmunds and BYU nursing students.

Dew has been an author, White House delegate and active church leader in addition to her work with Deseret Book since graduating from BYU. Known for her can-do attitude and positive outlook on life, she is a popular speaker in Latter-day Saint community.

The Mary Ellen Edmunds Endowment for the Healer’s Art was established in 2005. Donations to the fund benefit nursing students and the college’s student programs. Attendees who wish to donate may do so before the dinner by calling (801) 422-4444 or they may contribute at the event.
