School of Music presents "Opera Scenes" Feb. 22 - Feb. 25

Student ensemble will sing arias from Mozart's operas

A student ensemble from the Brigham Young University School of Music will present “Opera Scenes,” an evening of dramatic Italian and French opera pieces beginning on Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 7:30 p.m. in the Madsen Recital Hall.

Tickets are $6 each and can be purchased through BYUArts.com/tickets or directly through the Fine Arts Ticket Office, (801) 422-4322. 

The BYU School of Music will present selected arias from some of Mozart's most beloved operas, including Cosi fan tutte, Don Giovanni, Idomeneo, Der Schauspieldirektor (The Impresario), and Le nozze de Figaro. 

Performances are also scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 23, Friday, Feb. 24, and Saturday, Feb. 25. All performances begin at 7:30 p.m. and are in the Madsen Recital Hall in the Harris Fine Arts Center.
