Rocky Mountain European Scholars Consortium at BYU Oct. 6-7

The multidisciplinary Third annual Rocky Mountain European Scholars Consortium will be held Friday-Saturday, Oct. 6-7, at the Conference Center at Brigham Young University.

The theme of the conference is “Europe: Past and Present.”

This conference provides a challenging forum for the examination and evaluation of the shifting shape and meaning of Europe. Scholars from throughout the Intermountain West will share their work and interact with colleagues. There will be presentations, excursions and other activities designed to further European studies.

An undergraduate session, a new addition to the conference, will run concurrently with the Saturday morning general session. BYU students will present their European research at that session.

University credit in elementary education or secondary education is available to those who are interested. Eligible BYU faculty and staff and their spouses may receive a university fee waiver for this conference, whether or not they register for the education credit option. Direct questions about this option to Conferences and Workshops at (801) 422-2568 or cw348@byu.edu.

For more information or to register online, see europe.byu.edu/rmesc.
