Pre-law Advisement Center hosts fair Oct. 17

The Brigham Young University Pre-law Advisement Center will host its annual Law School Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 17.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Wilkinson Student Center Ballroom. Admission is free and all students considering attending law school are welcome to attend.

Last year more than 120 law schools and 1,000 students attended the fair, making it one of the largest forums in the country for pre-law students to meet law school representatives.

BYU study finds the real reasons why some people choose not to use artificial intelligence

In a recent study, BYU professors Jacob Steffen and Taylor Wells explored why some people are still reluctant to use GenAI tools. While some people might worry about an AI apocalypse, Steffen and Wells found that most non-users are more concerned with issues like trusting the results, missing the human touch or feeling unsure if GenAI is ethical to use.
