Pioneer PureVision Las Vegas Bowl to be broadcast on BYU campus for students

Brigham Young University Campus Cable’s broadcast of the BYU-University of Oregon Pioneer PureVision Las Vegas Bowl will be available live in the Wilkinson Student Center Terrace and Cougareat as well as at the Legends Grille in the Student Athlete Building beginning at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 21.

Dining Services will open select restaurants in the Cougareat for hungry football fans.

“We want to make the big game available for students to watch it together,” said K. Fred Skousen, the university’s advancement vice president. “Many students can’t go to Las Vegas, so we want to have venues available here.”

The game will be broadcast on ESPN, Channel 6 on the BYU network. The Cougars’ winning season earned them recognition among the top 25 teams in the nation, and Oregon comes to the game ranked No. 8 nationally in offense.
