Philanthropy as a career subject for BYU lecture Sept. 6

Brigham Young University’s David M. Kennedy Center will feature Jennifer Hogge from Donor Services, LDS Philanthropies, as part of its political affairs lecture series.

Hogge will speak on “Career Reflections: Philanthropy” Thursday, Sept. 6, at 4 p.m. in 238 Herald R. Clark Building. 

This series is sponsored by the BYU Political Affairs Society, the Political Science Department, the College of Family, Home, and Social Science, and the David M. Kennedy Center for International Studies.

As a donor liaison for LDS Philanthropies, Hogge helps facilitate, correlate, and encourage voluntary gifts to LDS Humanitarian Services and BYU-Hawaii. She is also an adjunct professor at the University of Phoenix and has previously worked as the director of international family policy and as a UN liaison for United Families International in New York, working with ambassadors, ministers, and NGO representatives in establishing and implementing international policy goals and social welfare policy issues.

She received a BA in political science and an MA in public policy from BYU and a Certificate of Completion from Cambridge University.
