Peter M. Johnson to present BYU devotional Feb. 6

Peter M. Johnson, an assistant professor of accounting at Brigham Young University, will present a devotional address Tuesday, Feb. 6 at 11:05 a.m. in the Marriott Center.

The devotional will be broadcast live on the BYU Broadcasting channels. For rebroadcast information, visit byubroadcasting.org.

A former faculty member at BYU-Hawaii where he was named Teacher of the Year in 1997, Johnson earned his bachelor's and master's of accountancy degrees at Southern Utah University and a Ph.D in accounting from Arizona State University. He joined the BYU faculty in 2002.

BYU’s space ace: Minor planet named in honor of Jani Radebaugh

BYU planetary geology professor Jani Radebaugh’s contributions to planetary science have reached cosmic proportions as she recently received the prestigious honor of having a minor planet named her. The asteroid, previously known as “45690,” now bears the name “45690janiradebaugh” on official NASA/JPL websites.
