Peg Schmidt has accepted the position of managing director of Compensation and Benefit Services at Brigham Young University, effective July 1.
Prior to this appointment, Schmidt acted as the equal employment opportunity manager in Human Resource Services. She also was the HRMS product manager on the Star 8 Upgrade Project.
Schmidt has been a member of BYU’s staff for six years, during which time she completed a master’s degree in public administration.
Before coming to BYU, Schmidt gained her human resource experience at Deseret Industries, Arizona State University, the University of Alberta and the Alberta, Canada Construction Labor Relations Association.
