Parking and mass transit topic of special BYU Q and A Sept. 15

The Student Advisory Council of BYUSA will host a “Parking and Mass Transit Q and A” with Student Life Vice President Jan S. Scharman and executives from the Utah Transit Authority Thursday, Sept. 15, at 11 a.m. in the Wilkinson Student Center Terrace.

In response to recent changes in parking and bus fees, students will have the opportunity to ask Scharman and the UTA representatives about the new policies.

“There have been a lot of concerns from students about the issue,” said Nathan Ward, Student Advisory Council coordinator. “The university wants to answer those questions.”

Beginning fall semester, campus parking passes for students were free and UTA bus passes cost $60 for the year.

For more information, contact Nathan Ward at (801) 422-6854.
